Inspired by the idea of "packing heat" but with bananas, this piece offers a counterpoint to the gun toting Texas culture. I reimagine bananas as protection, as armor, or at the very least, as a humorous way to reframe and dispel the norms we've created and live in. Calling out the absurd with more absurdity. Laughter can be medicine.
